October Walks
I wander up the hill every day regardless of the weather to take in this incredible place. Some days the waves crash and the wind howls but it always clears my head and helps me focus on the next task.
I love the sea.
New Felted Lambswool
I’m busy knitting my new range of super soft, cosy, colourful and unique winter pieces.
I’m hoping to have everything photographed ver soon and will keep you posted.
Here’s a sneak preview of my first colour block scarf using a mix of light and bright colours.
New season knitwear.
September has always been my favourite month.
I love it for so many reasons, it’s the promise of quiet swims when all the tourists have left, it’s the month I was born and it marks so many important beginnings in my life.
I left home in the September of 1984 to start a Foundation Course in Art & Design in Galway, the place where my life took off…
Now it’s when I buy new yarn and create new work to sell for the season ahead, I’m at my happiest in my studio at this time of year.
Here’s a new pile of lightweight scarves and striped mittens I just finished pressing.
