October Walks

I wander up the hill every day regardless of the weather to take in this incredible place. Some days the waves crash and the wind howls but it always clears my head and helps me focus on the next task.

I love the sea.

New season knitwear.

September has always been my favourite month.

I love it for so many reasons, it’s the promise of quiet swims when all the tourists have left, it’s the month I was born and it marks so many important beginnings in my life.
I left home in the September of 1984 to start a Foundation Course in Art & Design in Galway, the place where my life took off…
Now it’s when I buy new yarn and create new work to sell for the season ahead, I’m at my happiest in my studio at this time of year.

Here’s a new pile of lightweight scarves and striped mittens I just finished pressing.

Coast Magazine Feb 2020

I’m thrilled to have two of my favourite lambswool scarves featured in the February edition of Coast Magazine.

They have featured my long wide blanket scarf which measures 215cms x 32cms, just perfect for wrapping up after a bracing walk by the sea.

I have a selection of colourways in stock at the moment but they do sell fast at this time of year.

If you are interested and cannot find the exact one in my online shop please send a message using the contact form. As a small business I am very happy to work with you to get to the right colour combination that best suits you.
